My name is Steven Long. I belong to the Long for Truth blog as well as a member of the Messed Up Church group, two sites that boldly confront the false teachings of the modern Evangelical Church. I formerly identified as a Reformed Calvinist but over the last two-three years of continual study, my theology has radically shifted to that of a Confessional Lutheran. I currently attend Resurrection Lutheran Church in Chesapeake, Virginia.

I’m a Correctional Officer at a close custody facility in North Eastern North Carolina. My desire is to provide the layperson with resources to help them with the proper interpretation and application of Scripture.
